Delilah and Jessica were both exceptional employees who went above and beyond in making our stay positive. Jessica was extremely helpful when our son got sick, and when an emergency occurred with another guest, Delilah was professional and comforting under pressure.

This was a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, the breakfast was very good and all the staff were helpful, kind and very friendly. The room was large and the bathroom was spacious and the shower was excellent.

After an incredibly disappointing experience at another hotel near the Cedar Rapids airport, Jessica at this property completely turned our trip around. From the moment we arrived, her warmth, authenticity, and customer-first attitude were impossible to miss. As someone who has traveled extensively and teaches hospitality for a living, I don’t say this lightly—Jessica is one of the most exceptional front desk professionals I’ve encountered in a long time. She was not only gracious and accommodating with us, but I watched her handle both a joyful guest and a frustrated one—and she nailed both interactions with empathy, grace, and professionalism. It’s clear that she takes great pride in her hotel and genuinely cares for every single guest as if they’re the only one that matters. That level of service is rare and worth celebrating. Beyond Jessica, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-kept—but it was her hospitality that truly made the experience unforgettable. Thank you, Jessica. You reminded me why this industry matters. Brava!

The breakfast is great! I stay here and have My family stay here whenever they're in town, because the location is great the hotel is very clean and again the breakfast is great, and they have fantastic house coffee. That right there gets me in the door everytime. The pool is freezing and the hot tub was not in commission the two times I came, but the staff is pretty helpful. Everything you need is in walking distance. One of my favorite hotels in CR.

Jessie was so personable and welcoming after a long drive. He helped find a room that worked for me. I sleep all day because I work night shift at the hospital and he was able to get me in a quiet spot in a sold out hotel. He even brings some dad jokes!!!

Stayed here recently and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the breakfast had plenty of variety to start the day right. The staff was friendly and helpful, which really made the stay smooth and stress-free. The pool was a nice bonus, though the hot tub wasn’t working during my visit. Overall, a reliable and comfortable place to stay in Cedar Rapids.

Fairfield by Marriot never disappoints. This location was exceptional! Breakfast was unique(kale feta egg white omelet) and many options. Everything was clean with great shampoo, soaps(lavender!) Bed was perfect!...but customer service was PHENOMENAL with Jessica checking me in. She went the extra mile to help me with my rewards. I stick with Fairfield when I travel(no doubt!)
